Imagine Jesus walking through the marketplace or enroute to a neighboring city. Scripture says “Jesus went about doing good and healing ...” He was tuned in and very much aware of the people around him. When He spoke to someone, whether it was to encourage or heal them, you can bet they were elevated in spirit, soul and body. He certainly made their day!
You and I have the same opportunity to release life and make someone’s day.
One of the easiest ways to “go about doing good” is simply speaking to someone. Scripture says our spoken words are powerful to the point of bringing death or life. Why not allow the Lord to elevate someone through your spoken words?
The next time you’re at work or in a public place, take a look at the people around you. Ask Holy Spirit for words of life to speak to someone. A simple greeting or a prophetic statement declaring God’s heart towards them could be all it takes to elevate them and make their day!
Prayer
Holy Spirit , I desire to minister life to the people around me. Would you help me to not isolate myself when I’m with others? Today I would love to partner with you by speaking your words of life to someone. Abba, together let’s make someone’s day.
