Our Faithful Father
Our Father has chosen us to be the focus of His faithfulness.
"If we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself." 2 Timothy 2:13 (NIV)
We have the privilege of being related to a faithful Father. He is loyal, constant, and steadfast in His love for us. He will never disown us because we have been adopted by Him. He is by nature faithful and He can never stop being faithful. It’s who He is.
Deuteronomy 7:9 (NIV) reaffirms this:
Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.
God will never leave us or depart from us. We have entered into a covenant with Him, and He will not break His promises. Our Father is faithful, and He has chosen us to be the focus of His faithfulness.
Prayer
Father, thank you for adopting us as Your children and for keeping Your promises. Help us to grow more in love with You and to serve You in every area of our lives. Empower us to share the good news of Your faithfulness. We love You, Father. Amen.
