I have had a difficult and worsening relationship with a particular relative. Well it peaked in severity in 2016 and I was at a crossroads of either severing the relationship or believing restoration was possible in Jesus. Through prayer and council and clear direction from the Lord, I carefully spoke and demonstrated grace and honor within clear boundaries in the context of this relationship. Exactly a year later there is huge improvement and pleasant connection now within the relationship. The Spirit has so clearly used forgiveness and grace to restore what was broken in many ways. This was incredibly difficult for me to endure and go back into with kindness forgiveness and grace but God so faithfully has been restoring the relationship and has protected by heart in the process. He is faithful and able! Heeding the careful direction of the Spirit was paramount in seeing this timely breakthrough. So grateful to the Lord.
