My Mother’s Passing

My mother was rushed to the hospital, and I knew she coded on the way. I was upset because I needed to know she was saved before she died. A few weeks prior I had seen her reading a book about viewing Jesus as a prophet, and the Lord prompted me to ask her if Jesus was her Savior. She said yes, but I needed to be sure of where she would spend eternity. I needed to know I would see her again.

A friend called to pray with me when she heard my mom was in critical condition. I told her I wanted my mom to hold on until I could get a plane home, and I wanted to know she was going to be with Jesus. As we prayed Laura began to weep as she saw Jesus holding my mom, and unbeknownst to either of us, as Laura was seeing that vision, it was at that moment that my mom passed. That vision gave me peace as I grieved my mom passing.
