I had finished grad school and was unemployed. It was really discouraging because I thought I was going to get a job right out of grad school.
I received an email asking me for a phone interview to an internship I had no recollection of applying for. After the phone interview, I was denied the internship in lieu of an even better position I never applied for. This is in my dream field that a previous professor said I would never be able to work in. I love the job and am thriving!
