I was looking for a church home: a place that was spiritually mature, intimate, spirit filled, and full of grace. I wanted to find Pastors whose mission was to pour into the lives of people, challenge them, and motivate them to discover and walk in all of God’s purpose. I had been in too many churches where the emphasis was on the Pastor.
I had lunch with someone who shared about attending Northlands while in Atlanta for the summer. I had a strategy and plan to visit several churches, but something in my spirit leapt when she mentioned and shared about Northlands.I thought I was going to visit another church, but my car made a wrong turn and, since I was closer to Northlands, I visited.From the moment I stepped foot into the church, I knew I was home. I immediately made connections with people and I found a home group that is my home and new family.It has met every one of my heart's desire for maturity, grace, Holy Spirit, connection, and more. This is a huge celebration for me and I am so grateful to the Lord that, after many years praying, I have found my place, my home, my family!
