I had nose surgery for a deviated septum, and the doctor did some minor elective surgery at the same time, which would not typically be covered by insurance. After surgery I learned that my portion for the hospital could be in the tens of thousands of dollars.
I was very upset, and every time I would think about it Jesus would remind me that he paid my debt in full. I would declare this thought probably 20 times a day: “Jesus has paid my debt in full.” Then, after some tense weeks of waiting, the news came that everything was covered and, indeed, my entire debt had been paid in full. I believe that making that declaration released victory!
