I was working at a low-paying, boring job doing menial work and going insane. Began praying and trusting for a new job that paid better, was more interesting, and could offer me a career. Started a new job as a software developer despite lacking the skillset initially, on Jan 5th and have loved every moment of it, with opportunities to be trained in a career of programming and software architecture. More than that, the Lord has used this as an opportunity to speak about identity. I now function “from” the mindset of a software developer, not learning things “to” become a software developer, in the same way I function “from” the perspective of a well-loved son of God, and not “to” become accepted.
