Early this year, I learned my job was eliminated. Normally my typical response and plea to God would be to find a new job, and I received a lot of job seeking advice from well-meaning friends. My real prayer was for God’s peace and patience as I sought His direction for the next chapter of my life.
My two anchor verses for 2018 were: “But prayer wakes us up with mercies from God that are “new every morning” (Lam 3:23) and “You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word.” (Psalm 119: 114).God delivered me with the rest and healing I needed to move to a place to really be hear God’s direction as I started a new business.
